The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, or RVT, is a historic queer pub and performance venue at 372 Kennington Lane in Vauxhall. Its programme mixes cabaret, drag, comedy, singing, parodies and club nights. Regular events include Pick&Mix Cabaret, a queer variety night where new and established performers take the stage in turn, Friday Night Club, Honcho on Saturdays and a Sunday cabaret. For everyone's safety and comfort, bags and coats must stay in the cloakroom. The venue has an outside area, offers bar and wine lists, can be hired for events and filming, and supports a partner charity. Its history is told on the website and in a podcast about the venue. Tickets for nights are booked online, and a newsletter announces the programme.
