About the venue · La Mutinerie

La Mutinerie is a queer feminist bar at 176 rue Saint-Martin in the 3rd arrondissement, near the Centre Pompidou, open since 2012. It defines itself as a place by and for women, dykes, bi people, queers, fags and trans people. Open every day from 5 pm to 1.30 am, the bar hosts a very varied programme: concerts, talks, DJ sets, cabaret, drag shows, performances, screenings, karaoke, open mics, writing workshops, self-defence classes and community drop-ins. « Chill » nights simply leave the bar open for chatting over drinks. As much as a festive community space, La Mutinerie aims to be a place of political reflection: affordable prices, good working conditions, decisions voted by the collective, always-free entry, the option to stay without buying anything, and free use of the space by associations outside opening hours, with full financial independence. A charter states its rejection of racism, sexism, transphobia and classism. The monthly programme is posted on the website.
