Insomnia is an erotic, sex-positive club on Alt-Tempelhof in south Berlin, near Alt-Tempelhof U-Bahn station. It runs several event formats, each with its own crowd and rules. On Fridays and Saturdays, Weekend Dance & Play nights open the whole club, with one or two dancefloors and DJs, a dungeon, a couples gallery and a whirlpool, for more than 200 guests: the night starts with dancing, and what happens next is up to you. The club recommends this format for a first visit, since you can simply dance and watch. On weekdays and Sundays, smaller and more intimate BDSM and kink play events without a dancefloor take place in the main hall or the dungeon, each led by an experienced host and sometimes including a workshop. The website has an event guide, a "My first time" page and online ticketing.
