Open since 1995 on Rue des Archives (4th), Cox is one of the Marais' long-standing gay bars. Its mostly masculine crowd spills onto the pavement in warm weather, and the mood builds in the evening with house DJ sets. The decor changes regularly and the bar is a popular meeting point before heading to a club.
