L'Impact is a fully naked gay bar at 18 rue Greneta in the 2nd arrondissement, near Réaumur-Sébastopol, which also works as a cruising bar. Over two levels it offers a bright bar of stone and mirrors, different music on each floor, screens and a large glass-walled smoking room. At the bar the mood is friendly and flirty; the darker basement holds the backroom. The team makes sure the night stays safe, with a secure cloakroom and air conditioning. The bar opens every day: 7 pm to 4 am Monday to Wednesday, until 6 am Thursday to Saturday and on the eve of bank holidays, and 5 pm to 4 am on Sunday. Each night has its theme, from underwear-or-naked Mondays to fully naked nights the rest of the week. On Sundays entry is free for under-25s, and youth prices apply all week. Special nights, such as the Latino party Caliente, complete the calendar.
