Pulverfass is a queer cabaret in Hamburg, opened in 1973 and now located at Reeperbahn 147, after starting out on Pulverteich in the St. Georg district. The house has its own ensemble and its own productions: drag and travesty are its DNA, alongside acrobatics, live singing, dance, comedy, burlesque and boylesque by international artists. Two show series alternate: the Pulverevue, a big feathers-and-glitter revue restaged every season, and Pulverlesque, a more intimate burlesque version staged for one month in spring and one in autumn. The venue also has a bar and restaurant, show-and-drinks packages, a New Year's Eve gala and gift vouchers.
