About the venue · Overside
Overside is a swingers' club at 92 rue du Cherche-Midi in the 6th arrondissement, open since 1999 and focused on partying. Its large dance floor is lined with mirrors and fitted with three pole-dance poles; around it, rooms with different moods, from the most discreet to the boldest, offer privacy. The club also has an indoor smoking room. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, when it can be hired for more than 300 guests. Wednesday is a mixed night: doors open at 8.30 pm for couples and single women and at 10.30 pm for single men, with a buffet included until 10.15 pm, then a DJ until closing at 4 am. On Thursdays, the « Secret Paris » night, also mixed, takes place in near darkness. At weekends the club runs themed nights, such as La Nuit des Panthères Roses held for breast-cancer awareness month or a Halloween weekend, some of them for couples and single women only. The programme is posted on its website.
