Zondag Couples Night

Sameplace is an erotic bar in Amsterdam that has been open since 1997. It describes itself as a down-to-earth café rather than a fancy swingers club: everyone is welcome, most visitors come as couples, and each guest decides whether to play or simply have a drink. The ground floor has the bar, a small dance floor, a cage, benches and more intimate niches. The basement has a darkroom, a room with windows that locks from the inside, beds, a massage table and special chairs. The bar is closed on Mondays. It opens from 9 pm to 2 am Tuesday to Thursday, from 9 pm to 3 am on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 pm to 3 am on Sunday. Sunday evening is couples night. Other theme nights come back every month, including a BDSM afternoon on the first Sunday. There is no booking system, payment is cash only, and bags, phones and smartwatches go into a locker.
